GROW UP!
I love how we as the creation are understood by our Creator! After I was saved, and I must make sure that we are clear that this is after I was saved, I was merely a babe in Christ. The bible says that I thought as a child and walked as a child IN CHRIST.
We have to start somewhere and the childlike innocence and ignorance both color the life of a newly saved Christian.
I can remember when I was scared to do wrong and at the same time scared to do right. I can remember when the manifestation of evil was greater and stronger than the presence of God to me. I can remember when my testimony was all about what I did NOT do and was nothing about what I did. I can so well remember when I paid more attention to Satan than i did to God. I can remember when I prayed to have MORE instead of praying to use what I already had! I can remember when I talked to God more when I was hurt than when I was healed. All of this is indicative of the child in Christ. This is indicative of the child that God says that we all have to be in order to make it into the Kingdom. However, not instead of…but on TOP OF…the child in Christ, God calls all of us to MAN UP! Don’t be SCURRRRRRRED!
