The power of God is not kept in a bottle so that it can be seen at our leisure. God’s power is a wonder because of this. Human nature wants to wrap its intellectual arms around anything that is supposed to be respected or acknowledged. We need to touch it. We need to understand it. We need to see it! However, God’s power manifests itself in the unknown..unseen…unheard. Herein lies faith. Seeing what can’t be seen. Hearing what can’t be heard. Trusting what can’t be understood. This priceless resource fortifies the believer!!! With faith, the believer can press. With faith the believer can leap. With faith the believer can run. So why do we ask for money when we could get the faith to move mountains? Why do we ask for a spouse when we can get the faith to draw closer to God? It makes no sense. We just keep asking and being disappointed when it does not go our way!
It is a good thing that the God-called believer does not try to please…they try to build!
